The Mobinets NEP Core Suite is an all-in-one NSS planning, optimization and quality of service tool for all of your network elements.

Mobinets’ Core Suite supports detailed core network planning across all elements through the dimensioning of traffic links, SS7 links, and network interfaces. It maps existing topology, manually or based on the real traffic. It generates real-time inter-MSCs traffic matrices based on call detail records, and has the capability to generate automated traffic forecasts in the case of any changes in network architecture. The NEP Core Suite provides traffic load per interface based on the operators’ subscriber base usage patterns and subscribers per entity (MSC, HLR, POI). NEP also supports re-dimensioning of transmission links, interconnection links, and SS7 links to provide seamless support for new MSCs topologies, BSS reengineering, or a new routing plan.

Optimize Network Routing

The NEP Core Network Management Suite also supports optimizing the switching network routing for efficient usage of available transmission bandwidth and spare capacity, providing core routing optimization with failsafe support. It provides alternative routes for affected traffic in case of failures or links congestion. It also delivers detailed “what if” scenario planning to ensure high network availability and contingency planning. NEP delivers detailed analysis related to quality of service and business analytics. It generates QoS reports as perceived by end customers for any predefined cluster of subscribers (e.g. VIP subscribers, Roamers). It also provides different types of call drop errors based on call detail records. In addition, it provides personalized customer support, whereby the problem reported by any customer can be traced without expensive drive test campaigns.
