NPT is a Multi Vendor End-to-End Planning Tool for GSM/GPRS/EDGE/UMTS/HSxPA systems. Based on proven Monte Carlo dynamic simulation techniques, it allows modeling and design of the BSS / UTRAN.
The Dynamic Simulation will provide the following as output:
Accurate dimensioning of Iub/Iu, Dynamic Abis, Gb interface, PCU cards, NB, BTS, BSC, MFS, RNC
Accurate dimensioning of Ater/A interface and TRAU (Impact of HR/FR, AMR & Non AMR Mobile pools)
Compare allocated resources to measured resource occupancy and Upgrade where necessary
