Mobi cell broadcast (Mobi-CBR) is a powerful tool using the full potential of this channel. Mobi-CBR solution is designed to make easier and efficient a simultaneous delivery of messages to multiple users in a specified area

Mobi-CBR manages the campaign following the below 3 main steps:

 
  • Zone selection:
    Choose the target area or zone by drawing a polygon on a digital map (GIS system) or by importing/entering the Cell IDs, BSC service areas or LAC zones

  • Messages edition and Interfaces:
    Define the message to be broadcasted. Mobi cell Broadcast is interfaced with Mobi Payment solution, allowing to send special promotions to users (ex: get special discount if you call from this zone, etc)

  • Campaign planning:
    Program the Broadcast campaign according to internal MNO rules











The Mobi-CBR web interfaces permit an intuitive administration of cell broadcast features:

  • A web interface for administration (the mobile operator) in order to :
    1. Register authorized users to use the service (Login / Password of each user)
    2. Define broadcast areas for each user. This could be done directly on a digital map (GIS interface) or by importing the Cell IDs, BSC service areas or LAC areas
    3. Track the activity of users and generate reports on service utilization
    4. Manage users’ life cycle (Active, Blocked, deleted) and assign broadcast channels to each user
    5. Manage CBS campaigns
    6. Generate invoices for Service Provider









Via this interface, a Mobile Operator can assign one or more cell broadcast channels to a specific provider/ user, and similarly give the Service Providers or users access to send to a list of areas, and block the sending to other areas.

  • A Self Care Web interface for Service Providers or users to manage CBS campaigns (creating, updating, rescheduling, and deleting messages).



Mobi-CBR has connectors to interface with:

  • Operator radio network (BSS)
  •  Major billing engines for the generation of CDR for each event
  • OTA platform to remotely manage the broadcast Channel opening
