Monitor end user's tariff according to your cells network load




 
In a similar way to airlines which manage their offering according to the airplane replenishment, Mobi - Dynamic Tariffing (MDT) enables dynamically adapting End user's tariff based on the cells network load.

The Dynamic Tariff manager (MDT) offers MNOS the tools to monitor the load of each cell in the GSM networks (2G/3G) in short time intervals or in real time when it is required.
If the load of certain cells goes below a certain threshold for x Time Intervals, then a certain discount rate will be applied. Different Scenarios and discount rates are allowed to define different load thresholds.

For example,

 
  • If cell load is between 0% and 20%, free calls for certain period is offered,
  • If cell load is between 20% and 50%, 50% discount is offered,
  • If Cell load is above 80 %, no discounts will be offered.




To apply discount rates, the platform will contact the MSC/IN/PPS/Billing systems to apply or cancel the discounts or new tariffs; once the new tariffs are applied, the platform will broadcast to the subscribers present in the concerned geographical zones the details of the associated offers.

When the discount is over, the users, localized in that geographical zone, will be informed via a specific Bip tone "out of zone" or/and sms, specific Applet on SIM.

If interfaced with MobiNetS Mobile Payment Server (MPS); the system can also help you to create those new offers with either validity period or "out of zone" validity. As an additional option, coupled with an applet on the SIM, the Platform could notify users leaving the discount zones and offer additional options
