This module is extremely important for daily operational tasks as well as medium to long term planning. It includes today’s transmission network configuration with state of the art Hybrid TDM/Ethernet transmission technologies (up to the detailed Routers’ E1 & IP/MPLS ports configuration). It has advanced GIS and reporting capabilities that can be customized to the operator's workflow and reporting needs.
The system is coupled with NPT via a common Oracle Database; it can provide the following:
Full BTS/NodeB routing info to parent BSC/RNC including Port Mapping on Passive transmission equipment and Cross connectors, Transmission Link ID, Hop sites.
For each Transmission Passive Element (e.g. Digital Frame Distributor, MW panels or Cross Connector), provide full Ports mapping.
For each transmission link, provide the List of PCM links or VCs & the BTSs/Demands that are using this Link.
For each BSC/RNC/Router, provide the configuration of each port along with the list of BTSs/NodeBs connected on each port.
