Since foundation our mission statement is to help telecom operators & large cellular providers effectively manage and better control their networks while providing them with real-time traffic view, database management as well as network troubleshooting.
In 2003, we started by offering consulting services, network planning and optimization to telecom operators. We partnered with Gemalto for IT services and VAS platform integrations. In 2010, with the aim to solve mobile network problems in a much consolidated & cost-effective way, we launched NEP (Network Engineering Platform). Growing consistently, in 2013 we expanded our support to 6 transformation solutions like network performance management, network planning & optimization and more for mobile and fixed operators.

Labib founded Mobinets in 2003, an innovative provider of Next Generation OSS software solutions for telecom network operators around the world.
Labib started his career at Mobile Systems International MSI (UK), holding several positions from System Engineer to Domain Expert on network enterprise platforms and Senior Consultant. He also worked for Siemens (Munich, Germany) as Network Planning Leader in charge of South Europe and Latin America; for Nortel Networks (France) as 3G PresalesSupport and Bid Manager for Europe; for Gemalto (La Ciotat, France) as Senior Project Manager for VAS projects.
In 1999, prior to founding Mobinets, he co-founded SETRAM, a telecom consultancy company providing mobile network planning services for major telecom operators. SETRAM was rebranded as Optimi and later acquired by Ericsson.
Labib holds an Engineering degree from the American University of Beirut and a Masters degree in Radio Mobile from École Nationale Supérieure des Télécommunications in Paris, France.
Dr. Walid Moneimne is the CEO of Aspenta, an Atlanta based USA telecom operator focusing on roaming worldwide and M2M.
Dr. Walid Moneimne is also the Chairman of NURATEL, a company specialized in business development and solution selling in the technology sector in the Middle East. NURATEL FZ LLC represents a certain number of leading technology companies in the Middle East.
Prior to this, Walid was the Senior Vice President for Nokia Networks for Europe Middle East and Africa and he served as Chairman for Nokia Siemens Networks for the Middle East and Africa region. Prior to that Walid worked in various senior positions in Dell as Vice President for Enterprise in EMEA and Vice President of HP for Emerging Markets and Regional General Manager at Xerox Corporation in the US and in Europe. Walid led very large organizations in his experience in sales, marketing and service. He led the pre integration team for the merger of HP and Compaq in 2002.
Among his many credentials, Walid was named as the Middle East IT executive of the year in 1996 and received the Life Career Achievement Award in 2001. Walid was also named the Telecom Executive of the Year at Arab Telecom and Internet Forum 2006.
Walid holds a PhD in Computer Science from the University of Grenoble, France, a MBA from HEC France and Wharton Business School, USA. He also completed a computer engineering degree from ENSIMAG in France.
He is fluent in English, French and Arabic.
Hussein Rifai is the founder and Chief Executive Officer of Management and Development International Company (MDIC), a company that provides operational management and consultancy expertise for mobile, fixed and data communication service providers (CSP).
MDIC is currently active in Central Asia, the Caucasus, Africa, and the Middle East. The company is recognized amongst its peers and customers as a leading, innovative service company in the telecommunications industry.
A former Chairman and General Manager of LibanCell in Lebanon, Mr. Rifai has more than 30 years of proven ICT/ telecommunications experience that includes the launch of several successful mobile operators. Mr. Rifai has extensive experience in strategy, financial planning, consortium setup and contractual negotiations. He is as well an investor in several companies involved in the telecommunications sector.
Elie Habib is an experienced executive with over 25 years in public and private companies, international markets and the private equity sector. Elie is currently a venture partner with Middle East Venture Partners (MEVP) and a VC consultant to the World Bank.
With Abraaj Capital (Dubai, Lebanon), Elie established and managed a $50 million private equity fund focused on investing and market development of high growth value companies in the Middle East region. Prior to that, he co-founded and led as a CEO a VC-backed startup that launched an innovative video delivery network until it was acquired in 2009.
From 2000 to 2006, Elie was SVP and GM at Nokia leading the Enterprise Security and Mobile Connectivity business unit, targeting solutions to Fortune 500 and Global 2000.
Previously Elie was a successful executive at Ramp Networks (acquired by Nokia), Bay Networks (acquired by Nortel) and Sun Microsystems. Elie is currently an active board director of several local and international mid-market private companies in various sectors of communication, media, analytics, cloud computing and SaaS. Elie is the co-founder and current board member of Lebnet, the leading hi-tech Lebanese professional network in the US.
